Our Kids race is a straight flat, 1km route, starting from Nissi Bay parking area, in the direction of Ayia Thekla. At the entrance to Landa Beach, our young runners will turn and proceed back to the finish line at Nissi Bay.

This race is dedicated to the memory of Iakavos Triaros, a beautiful soul, who left this life unexpectedly at the age of 12. Having a sibling with autism, Iakovos had a deep understanding of the challenges associated with Autism.

Iakovos had a huge love for sports, he was an exceptional friend and team member. A beautiful person, with a huge heart, Iakovos is greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

A few words from Iakovos mother’:

“The life you lived, lights up our path for another year…

A path of giving, of love, of charity, but above all of acceptance and understanding of diversity.

Having lived closely with the life and difficulties of children with autism, Iakovos from a very early age embarked on a quest for information, inclusion and equal treatment of children with autism, by society.

I thank the organizers from the bottom of my heart who, for another year are dedicating the children’s race to the memory of Iakovos, making his wish a reality. I thank the parents who encourage and support their children to participate in this struggle of awareness and acceptance.”
